Boya Yan is a talented musician raised in a family of artists, which fostered her passion for music early on. She began her piano lessons at the age of three and took up singing at sixteen, demonstrating her wide-ranging musical talents.

Since 2011, Boya has been dedicated to teaching, inspiring numerous young pianists and vocalists. Her students regularly receive very high result in music examinations.

She earned a Master of Music (Performance Teaching) from Melbourne University, with a Master of Philosophy (Music) and a Bachelor of Arts from Beijing University. Furthermore, she is an engaged member of the International Music Education Society (ISME) and the Australian International Vocal Teachers Association (ANATS).
