AT KIDKO
The Friday Soiree is Kidko's hot new performance space.
A place where our music and instrumental students can bust out some sweet tunes in a relaxed and super casual 60 minute concert.
Practice what you've been learning in your lessons, hang out with your fellow students, and showcase your amazing talents for your friends and family.
Then straight after the Soiree we'll throw on a movie, serve up some food while you're parents head out for dinner in Albert Park's restaurant district.
All for $25 per performer, your parents/guardians can even come and watch your perform for free!
We're excited to welcome the return of our Friday Soiree's This is an opportunity for our music lesson students to have some fun and get some performance practice at the same time in a relaxed 60 minute performance.
After the show is over, we'll look after the kids until 8:15pm so you can head out to one of the many fine establishments around Albert Park for dinner.
On the 24th and 25th of June we're playing host to the legendary Michael Cormick.
Michael Cormick is an accomplished actor and singer of international standing. Mo Award winning Michael’s Australian Theatre credits include, the Phantom in Phantom of the Opera, Daddy Warbucks in Annie, Mamma Mia, Cats and Evita.
Michael will have a limited number of 30 minute time slots for private voice students over the two days. He will also be conducting a special vocal student masterclass on Sunday the 25th from 1pm-2:30pm places in this masterclass are strictly limited and will fill up very quickly.

Kidko is excited to welcome back Christopher Norton for 2 very special masterclasses in the upcoming school holidays.
Chris will be touching down at Kidko on the 9th of July to give students the opportunity to play and workshop one of his pieces and participate in a group improvisation workshop.
Christopher Norton is now well established as a composer, producer, arranger and educationalist and has written stage musicals, ballet scores, piano music, popular songs and orchestral music as well as jingles and signature tunes for TV and radio. He lectures all over the world on aspects of his work and likes to integrate traditional teaching methods with aspects of modern technology. He has also found time to produce huge numbers of albums for the gospel market, with releases worldwide selling in excess of 1,000,000 units.
Places are strictly limited for our two sessions on the 9th of July from 1-3pm and 3-5pm.
