MUSIC TUTOR | PIANO
Stuart was born in Melbourne and completed his piano studies at The University of Melbourne in 2015. He currently teaches music privately and at a couple of music schools around Melbourne, including KIDKO.
As a teacher he has worked with students of all ages in one-on-one and group lessons, teaching all styles of piano, music, and theory. He has a sound and deep understanding of music and pedagogical interests in musical cognition, performance psychology, and the physiology of piano technique.
As a performer, he regularly appears as a jazz pianist, orchestra pit musician, and (as a side-skill) trombone player with The Grainger Wind Symphony. He also occasionally appears as a concert soloist and plays music for functions and events. Additionally, he studies and makes music as a conductor, leading the Victorian Branch Scout Band.
Outside of music, Stuart harbours a passion for home-cooking and espresso coffee. He’s thrilled and excited to be teaching at KIDKO!
